How does it work?
Carbon Positive will work with members to set SEEMP Plus targets and Energy Performance Indicators (EPIs) for carbon reduction. This will be followed by a list of recommendations of which measures will best suit the vessel. An Annual Emission Monitoring Plan will also be created.Once these measures have been identified and implemented, Carbon Positive will provide online training material to ensure best practice.
Monitoring progress is crucial and Carbon Positive on line Platform will provide visibility of EPIs and emissions reductions in line with the targets every step of the way. To be eligible to enter the Reduce phase, the client must have completed phase 1 MEASURE.
There is a set of interdepend targets that have to be taken into consideration; GHG and Non-GHG emission reduction, reduction of consumption of bunkers, compliance with rules and regulations, are some targets clients can discuss with the CP team.

What are the benefits of phase 2?
During the Reduce phase, clients will see the results of the Carbon Positive emissions management programme. Emissions reduction will be achieved using the measures suggested by Carbon Positive's consultants, and to complement these solutions and ensure best practice, Carbon Positive online platform will provide training material for personnel to maintain progress.
Monitoring and reporting is a crucial element of this phase, to ensure that emissions reductions fall in line with pre-determined emissions reductions targets.
